Calvin Fenner from Columbia County Sheriff’s Department in Florida sent me a video on how to process a car in 10 minutes. Yes you read this right 10 minutes. You are probably wondering how you can accomplish this using a standard fingerprint brush. The secret is not using a standard brush but a roll medical cotton and standard fingerprint powder. Simply apply a contrasting fingerprint powder to the cotton and very lightly rub over the surface of the vehicle. Doing it lightly will not damage the latent fingerprints. Once you have identified where the latent prints are switch to your fingerprint brush to develop and clear the excess powder out of the developed latent fingerprints. You are now ready to photograph and lift the developed latent fingerprints.
